Following the fantastic momentum of the Jimmy Tarbuck Golf Classic events, we’re delighted to share some reflections—and a heartfelt thank you to all who joined us.

Coombe Hill – A Sold-Out Celebration
Our third event (and second UK Classic) took place last week at the beautiful Coombe Hill Golf Club.

It was a sell-out day of golf, fun, friendship, and laughter, rounded off with a fantastic BBQ on the terrace. The course was in outstanding condition, and it was wonderful to see so many new guests alongside old friends and celebrity supporters.
Coombe Hill will now become our permanent venue for the Jimmy Tarbuck UK Golf Classic as we look forward to 2026.

Thanks to your generosity, the event raised thousands, directly supporting the MCKS Charitable Foundation UK.

A Tradition in Portugal
The Jimmy Tarbuck Golf Classic has a proud 43-year history in Portugal, with the 44th edition coming up next.

Under the new organisational team of James Tarbuck, Paul and Annette Jones, we are building on that legacy with our  new format the next Portugal Classic , our fourth event with together will promise the same unbeatable mix of sunshine, golf, and friendship, in its home on the Algarve.

Save the Date: February 2026 – 44th Jimmy Tarbuck Portugal Golf Classic
Tuesday 24th February until Saturday 28th February 
Staying at the Wyndham Suites and playing San Lorenzo and Quinta Do Lago golf course.

Last year this event raised over 14000 euros for The Refusio children’s home in the Algarve.

About the MCKS Charitable Foundation UK
The MCKS Charitable Foundation UK supplies food and toiletries to around
175 schools across the UK through its unique school pantry cupboards. These cupboards allow children and their families to access basic provisions discreetly, while also giving teachers the tools to help those most in need.
In addition, the charity provides:
* Food for breakfast clubs, exam periods, and school holidays
* Emergency care packages for families in crisis
* Extra support for SEN children, in partnership with schools

The charity currently has a waitlist of schools wishing to join the programme. Every donation helps MCKS reach more children and families across the UK in the most efficient way possible.
